Zadnar Zarendu and the Path of Less Control
Zadnar Zarendu and the Path of Less Control
24"w x 19"h drawing on paper, pen and colored markers

Each human has a Spirit Guide who accompanies us everywhere and offers guidance. Those little hints of intuition or inner voices we hear are often our Spirit Guides giving us a nudge in the right direction.

In October, 2006 I learned the identity of my Spirit Guide, Zadnar Zarendu, a very regal African tribal chief dressed in colorful robes, who had lived a human existence several generations ago. "Zad" has been my Guide since 2000. Although I have never actually seen him, I sense his presence always and I know precisely what he looks like.

In December 2006 I was told by angels that I needed to take a new path, one of "less control". This would be no easy feat for someone with a unflagging sense of responsibility to make the world a better place.

In this drawing I am practicing my new path of less control. Zad offers me support while my spirit dog Rhodo sits loyally beside me. In my lap is Rhodette, a tiny dog I rescued in Africa. All the little female figures are versions of me playing, relaxing, hiking, having fun...out of control!

The large and small hearts are there to confirm that no matter what we do, we are always supported by Universal Love.
